11 licks from Kaleidoscope by Troy Stetina

Put your chops to the test! These licks, taken from Troy Stetinas instrumental track 'Kaleidoscope', cover every aspect of guitar playing - tremolo picking, sextuplet sweeps, double stops, bends, melodic phrasing, fast 16th runs and more!

Each phrase is further broken down into bite-sized pieces played slowly and then pieced back together into longer phrases. Joining small phrases together is the secret to creating your own long flowing lines!

Each lesson has a Riff Axelerator Interface so that no matter how slowly you can play, you can play along and progress!

You get 11 licks in they pack and two extra lessons that help you to combine the smaller parts into larger sections. Watch the video for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I get in this pack?
We have taken two sections from Troys tune Kaleidoscope. Section one is the main theme and lead break taken from the start of the tune for approximately the first minute. Section two is the third lead break, it can be identified as the half-time shuffle feel section that starts at approximately 3.30 through to 5.00. Section one consists of 4 separate licks which are each broken down into bite sized pieces and taught at 60 bpm. These are then joined back together and you can practice getting up to a target speed using the Riff Axelerator interface. You can also keep a public log of your progress to keep you on track. Section two is similar - this section comprises seven, '8 bar' licks with some really wild playing, and again these are broken right down into small sections and then joined back together. You can work on the individual licks using Riff Axelerator and then we join all 7 licks together at various speeds for you to strive to reach different target points. Again, you can publicly show your progress using the comments. We also encourage people people to put up a Youtube link of them achieving their goals.
What makes this different?
The licks are taught using Riff Axelerator which gets faster while you play along. Not only that, the audio quality is maintained even at the super slow speed of 50 bpm so nobody gets left behind! The licks are 170 bpm at full speed.
